Licensing Agreement
The final phase of the International Partner Program moves the Partner
to an exclusive licensing arrangement. Licenses are granted by
territories, product and formulations. The Partner will pay an upfront
fee as well as ongoing residual payments to SCD. Licensees will be
granted at such time when the EM market is of sufficient size, the
Partner has built a production facility, proven its ability to sustain
high quality processes and exhibit the required technical expertise.
SCD’s research and manufacturing partner, BioSyntropy Solutions (B2S)
has developed a multiple step process to transfer production know-how
to the Licensee. This includes proprietary formulations, culturing
processes and quality control standards. Potential licenses must be
able to meet exacting standards for technical understanding and
experience, quality, consistency, cleanliness and purity.
Once qualifications have been met, B2S' fermentation experts will work
with Licensees to customize formulation and raw materials to meet local
regulatory compliance, marketing preferences, and availability of
materials.
SCD will work with the international partner to co-develop and co-brand
products that appeal to that territory’s interest in microbial
products. SCD want to provide a partnership built on the changing needs
and demands of licensees.
